Richard moved to Pembrokeshire in 1986 after a career in medical research.  He soon became passionate about photographing the beauty of the county.

His choice of subjects is diverse: panoramic views of the coast; St Davids Cathedral within and without; local woodlands, especially the Gwaun Valley; studies of flowers, often in extreme close-up to reveal their hidden beauty.

Prints are made on watercolour paper using stable pigment inks and may be in traditional mounts for framing or on foam board for immediate hanging.

26 May - 13 June 2010, City People: Richard has taken 24 black and white portrait photographs of people in and around St Davids, all in a 'work' situation and using only the light available.  If you can't get to the gallery to see the exhibition, the images will be on the website from 19 May.
