|
Suzanne handbuilds sculptural pieces describing bird and animal forms.
From colourful chameleons to mischievous badgers, she draws inspiration from the observation of nature, textiles and art nouveau, using an unusual combination of fabric textures and clay to create the finished form.
After graduating from Camberwell College of Arts in 1999, Suzanne ran a studio in London. In 2002, she moved to Wales and has her studio in Ceredigion.
Her work is included in the book “The Complete Practical Potter” by Josie Warshaw (Anness Publishing, 1999) and is held in the permanent art collection at Hanley Castle, Worcestershire.
