Ten years later, having studied the work of as many eminent and influential artists as he could see or read about, his pictures are more concerned with colour, mood and atmosphere.

In finding a way to his own style, Peter became fluent in many media and techniques, but remained constant to his subject – the landscape, coastline and architecture of Pembrokeshire. “The landscapes haven’t changed, but they are so much more alive to me now.”

Peter was born in Pembrokeshire and lives near Haverfordwest. When not painting he works for the Environment Agency.
