The focus of Viv's energetic landscape painting is an often subtle contrast of reality and the magical.  Her inventions reflect an accord with the shifting seasons, elements in flux and an underlying harmony of nature and myth.  It is a private vision, a language of song and motion and expressive dimension; a dance at the edge of the known horizon.

 

Born in Liverpool, Viv painted while training as a professional actress.  She worked in TV, film and radio, then decided to study Fine Art at Nottingham.

 

Viv has exhibited extensively in Pembrokeshire, and also at the Royal Cambrian, Conwy, The Green Gallery, Dublin and at the Royal Academy's Summer Exhibitions.
