Nigel and Joy Mason are artists born and bred in Wales. They share an enthusiasm for the country's ancient, lively culture and for its natural beauty - the detail of lichen, seaweed and pebbles as well as the grand sweep of rocks, sea and sky.
Nigel is an artist in slate and stone; Joy has studied decorative stained glass. They now collaborate to produce kiln-fired glass pieces in which the play of reflected, refracted and transmitted light conveys something of their feeling for Wales and their pleasure in the visual and tactile qualities of fused glass.
